Martinez June 7, 1921 - November 5, 2004 Ignacio " Nash" C. Martinez, age 83, of Stockton passed away at St. Joseph's Medical Center on Friday, November 5, 2004. Born in Galt, California on June 7, 1921, he lived in Stockton for 78 years. He leaves behind his dear loving wife of 32 years, Dolores C. Martinez and his 7 children; Tillie Martinez, Tony Martinez, Pete Martinez, Blandina Reyes, Richard Martinez, Yvette R.M. Murillo and Xavier I. Martinez all of Stockton. He is also survived by his dear sister Mary C. Goodloe of Temecula, CA; his dear brother, Pablo Vidaure of Stockton and a sister who preceded him in death Ramona V. Morris, who passed away on June 26, 2004. Mr. Martinez also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren and was a special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Ignacio thoroughly enjoyed his humble job as a Master Carpenter and Craftsman and took great pride in everything he made. He worked for various companies and started his career as a carpenter with Nomelini. He then worked for Tocolli and Sons, Fin Burton, Shepard and Green and Grupe Village Homes. He was a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church and the Local 25 Carpenter's Union for 50 years. Mr. Martinez was also the proud manager of the Great Pete Martinez Orchestra. He enjoyed music, dancing and greatly enjoyed the company of all of his family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, November 11, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1663 E. Main St. Visitation will be Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the Mortuary.
