Margaret Stone Brown

Margaret Stone Brown, 83, a Stockton resident since 1948, passed away Tuesday, 
November 9, 2004, in a Stockton hospital. She was born October 28, 1921, in 
Ely, NV and grew up in McGill, NV. 
Beloved wife of Bert G. Brown, Sr. of Stockton. Loving mother of Cheryl Cesar 
of Hayward, Bert Brown, Jr. of Manteca and Jeffrey Brown of Oakland. Dear 
sister of Jane Hardy of Hansville, WA. Devoted grandmother of Ted Barcich, Rory 
Brown, Shayla and Alex Brown. Cherished aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. 
After 20 years she retired from San Joaquin County Tax Collector's Office. A 
member of 1st Unitarian Church (Stockton) and the San Joaquin Retired Employees 
Association. Active in Elkhorn PTA, the Emergency Food Bank and the Emergency 
Shelter for Homeless Families. 
At her request, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the care of 
Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi. 
Remembrances may be expressed to American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way 
#115, Sacramento, CA 95815.
