Marvin Lee Brown April 28, 1944 — April 25, 2004 Graveside services will be Friday in Tracy for farmer Marvin Lee Brown, 59, of Modesto, who died Sunday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Mr. Brown was a native of Marked Tree, Ark., and had lived the Tracy area 14 years and in Modesto 10 years. He was a foreman at a turkey ranch. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and restoring old cars. He also liked to read. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Brown of Modesto; two sons, Steve Brown of Tracy and Tim Brown of Livermore; a daughter, Diana Cano, and her husband, Juan Sr., of Jamestown; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Justin, Dylan, Jack, Cory and Austin Brown, all of Tracy, and Skeeter Cano of Modesto; three brothers, Ray Brown of Jamestown, Billy Brown of Turlock and Larry Brown of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters, Faye Fessenden of Manteca, Karen Scott of San Diego and Kathy Speaks of Jonesboro, Ark. A son, Jack Allen Brown; a brother, William Brown; and his parents, Len and Velma Brown, all preceded him in death. Friday’s services will be at 2 p.m. at Tracy Cemetery, 600 E. Schulte Road.
