Robert Mog
Robert John Mog, 83, of Blackwell, Okla. and formerly of Lodi, died Nov. 10 at 
his home. He was born March 18, 1921, near Ellsworth, Kan., where he was raised 
and attended Ellsworth Public School.

Mr. Mog moved to Kansas City in 1941. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corp, 
where he learned several trades. He served in the Army Air Corp until is 
discharge, and then relocated to the South Pacific where he worked in heavy 
equipment. He married Cynthia French in 1948, and they settled in the Outback 
of Queensland in construction camps. He spent a brief time in Peru until 1954 
when he returned to the United States. He and his family lived in Lodi for 15 
to 20 years during the 1950s. He later moved to Oklahoma.

After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, flying his airplane, gardening, 
fishing and operating his ham radios as license number WA6KOB.

He is survived by his daughters, Bobbie Jean Brown, of Lovell, Wyo., and Cyndy 
Green, of Lodi; son, Milton Dale Mog, of Brisbane, Australia; eight 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Mog; and three sisters.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Roberts and Son Funeral Home in 
Blackwell, Okla. Burial will be held at Ellsworth City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Nutrition Service, c/o Roberts 
and Son Funeral Home.
