Anna Catherine Evans 
Jan. 13, 1920 - Nov. 12, 2004



Anna Catherine Evans, 84, of Stockton passed away on the 12th of November, 
2004, at a local hospital. Mrs. Evans was born on January 13, 1920, in Lawton, 
OK.
She is survived by her children, Donna Riley, Cora Jones both of Stockton, 
Hiram Evans of San Diego; a brother, Samuel Phipps; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-
grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children, Barbara Gabriel and Horace Evans; 
three brothers, Leroy, Bobby and Charlie Phipps and a sister, Belle Foreman.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at 
Lodi Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wasllace-Martin Funeral Home, 520 
N. Sutter St., Stockton, CA on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 
7:00 p.m.
