Norma V. Churchman 
April 25, 1942 - November 10, 2004



Mrs. Norma V. Churchman, 62, passed away in French Camp on Wednesday, November 
10, 2004. 
Norma was born in the Phillipines on April 25, 1942, and she has resided in 
Stockton for the past 25 years.
When Norma was 20 years of age she became an aspiring actress. She acted in 
theatre as well as several movies. She enjoyed supporting the United Way, 
Special Olympics and Disabled Veterans. Norma was a very caring person. She 
enjoyed traveling with her husband and especially loved going to Lake Tahoe or 
Reno as well as playing bingo. She spent time gardening and always made time to 
spend with her wonderful grandchildren, and she will always be considered as 
the "World's Best Grandma".
Norma will always be loved and will be deeply missed by her husband Ben 
Churchman; her children, Danabel Quitasol, Kathy Santiago and Aljohn Thomack 
all of Stockton; her brothers Ruby Varona, Ray Varona and Rhedd Varona all of 
the Phillipines; her sisters Nellyvide Lusar of the Phillipines and Normelita 
Jenkins of San Jose. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Henry Rotor, 
Brittany Englehorn, Naomi Rotor, Allen Joseph Englehorn, Monique Santiago and 
Cecily Santiago.
Visitation will be held at the Wallace-Martin Funeral Home located at 520 N. 
Sutter Street, on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tueday from 10:00 a.m. 
to 7:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral 
home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Committal will be at Parkview Cemetery in 
French Camp.
