Felipe Z. Quiroga Sept. 15, 1914 — April 19, 2004 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday for longtime Tracy resident Felipe Z. Quiroga, 89, who died Monday at Palm Haven Care Center in Manteca. A native of Durango, Mexico, Mr. Quiroga lived in Tracy about 40 years. He was a farm laborer 50 years, and he worked for Holly Sugar and Edwards Farms in Tracy. Mr. Quiroga enjoyed gardening and spending time with his extended family. He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Mr. Quiroga is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eulalia Quiroga of Tracy; four sons, Faustino Quiroga, Juan Quiroga, and his wife, San Juana, and Anacleto Quiroga, and his wife Anna, all of Tracy, and Abraham Quiroga, and his wife, Maria, of Ceres; a sister, Katarina Quiroga of Mexico; 18 grandchildren, Irene, Julie, Michael, Ruben, Lupe, George and Cleto Quiroga, Carmen Beza, Norma Velasquez, Sylvia Holsten and Cindy Felber, all of Tracy, Lupitha, Roseanna, Diane and Abey Quiroga, all of Ceres, Monica Nix of Ripon, Hector Quiroga of Washington and Anacleto Quiroga Jr. of Kansas; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A daughter-in-law, Martha Quiroga; a grandson, Paul Quiroga; a great- granddaughter, Macrina Beza; four siblings; and his parents all preceded him in death. Tuesday’s Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W.
