Orosco was a lifelong resident of the Eastside Community where he was active in many community related activities including, Co-founder of the Cal Mex Baseball League, President of the Police Advisory Board, Ring announcer for Stockton's Boxing Commission and active in the City Council, just to name a few. He is survived by his brothers, Tony, Joe, Primo, Gilbert and Wilfred Orosco; sister, Beatrice Hernandez and Carmen DelBarba. He was a loving father to 8 sons, Daniel, David, Rudy, and Marty Orosco, Armando, Steve and Ramond Esquer and John Dumlao (Orosco). He was also survived by 29 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. A Rosary will be held at St. Gertrude's Church, 1663 E. Main Street on Thursday, November 18, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 19, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude's Church. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
