Catherine League 
Feb. 29, 1948 - November 12, 2004



Catherine League, 56, passed on Friday, November 12, 2004, at her residence in 
Stockton. She was born on February 29, 1948, in Casa Grande, Arizona, the 
daughter of Lee D. and Angie Evelyn Maddox. She was an homemaker and resided in 
Stockton for 12 years. Mrs. League was an avid doll collector and loved caring 
for her loving family and her pet dogs. Mrs. League worked for the Senior 
Service Agency for 20 years and was an active member of the Stockton Baptist 
Church. 
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray League; three child-ren, Cynthia 
Brady of Lodi, Donald Ray League II of Farmers-ville, and Tina Marie Darrah of 
Martinez and seven grandchildren. She was also survived by four brothers, 
Robert, Jerry, Clifford and Bob Maddox and five sisters, Margaret League, Helen 
Glaap, Susie Hicks, Rosemarie Ziegler and Rubyniel Foster.
Friends are invited to attend visitations from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 
Thursday, November 18, 2004, at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. 
California Street in Stockton. The Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 
a.m. on Friday, November 19 at the mortuary, followed by a graveside committal 
service and interment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine. 
To honor her memory, memorial contributions may be to American Cancer Society, 
207 E. Alpine Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204 or the Humane Society, 4590 S. Highway 
99, Stockton, CA 95215.
