James L. Richards 
Sept. 30, 1926 - November 16, 2004



James Leonard Richards, 78, was born in Tracy, CA, September 30, 1926 and 
passed away in Stockton, CA on November 16, 2004. Mr. Richards was a lifetime 
area resident and worked for Pacific Gas and Electric for 40 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Cleo Richards.
Devoted father of Patti Ann Griffin and husband, Frank Griffin of Stockton. 
Loving grandfather of Myles Matthew Richards Griffin of Long Beach and Justin 
Adam Griffin of Stockton. Dear brother of Evelyn Ford of San Leandro, Betty 
Foster of Concord, Charles Richards of Oregon and Lora Richards of Hayward.
A private funeral service will be held. There will be no visitation. DeYoung 
Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA, is in charge of 
arrangements. Committal: Park View Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions in his memory be made to Hospice of 
San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
