Ernest Joseph Lopez 
June 5, 1923 - November 16, 2004



Ernest "Ernie" Joseph Lopez, 81, was born June 5, 1923 in Stockton, CA and 
passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in Stockton. Ernie was a longtime 
resident of Stockton and attended local schools. He was a U.S. WWII Marine 
Veteran and worked as a furniture buyer for Brueners for 30 years. 
Mr. Lopez is the beloved husband of 57 years of Natalie Lopez of Stockton. 
Devoted father of Catherine Marie Reid and son-in-law, Steve Reid of Discovery 
Bay. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Matthew and Lisa all of Monterey, CA. Dear 
brother of Dan Lopez of Stockton, Dave Lopez of Linden and the late Alice 
Fagnant. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the 
Church of the Presentation, Friday, November 19, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. There will 
be no visitation. DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA, 
in charge of arrangements. Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Mausoleum. 
Family suggests memorial contri-butions in his memory be made to Church of the 
Presentation Building Fund, 6715 Leesburg Place, Stockton, CA 95207 or the 
American Heart Association, 1212 W. Robinhood Dr., Suite 5D, Stockton, CA 
95207.
