Cecilia V. Hewlett 
Nov. 17, 1921 - Nov. 11, 2004



Cecile "Dolly" Hewlett, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2004. She was 
born on November 17, 1921, and raised in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. She moved to 
Southern California where she met and married L. Jay Hewlett in 1941. From 
there, they moved to Fresno where they raised their family. Jay passed away in 
1968 after nearly 26 happy years together. Cecile remained in Fresno until her 
retirement from the I.R.S. and then moved to her cherished "little house in the 
mountains". She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fresno and Faith 
Lutheran Church in Pioneer. In 2001 her health forced her to move to Stockton 
to be closer to her family. She treasured her grandchildren, enjoyed cooking 
her special dishes for her family and had a passion for travel. 
Cecile is survived by her daughter, Sandra Beseda, of Stockton; her son, David 
Hewlett, of Fresno; her brother, Don Kaminski, of Sacramento; her sisters, 
Emily Dillard, of Torrance, Mary Faldowski and Henrietta Brinson of Toms River, 
New Jersey; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at 
Zion Lutheran Church in Stockton.
