Lucy R. Pitto 
March 4, 1915 - November 18, 2004 



Lucy R. Pitto, 89, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2004, in a local 
hospital. She was born in Oakland, CA, March 4, 1915, and has lived in Stockton 
since she was a child. Lucy worked at Kress Department Store for many years, 
and also as a cook for the Stockton Unified School District. She was a member 
of the ICF #8, the IAC Woman's Auxiliary, and she was also an avid bowler for 
many years. She was the devoted wife of the late, Frank Pitto. 
Beloved mother of Noreen Sanchez and son-in-law, Jesse Sanchez of Stockton, and 
mother of the late Claudia Woods. She was the loving grandmother of Angie 
Sanchez, Nikki Sanchez, David Royce and wife Lori, Gregory Royce and step-grand-
 mother of Shannon Morse and Stacy Woods. Dear great-grand- mother of 11. She 
was the loving sister of Aldo Corradi, of Stockton and the late Elsie Boggiano. 
Lucy is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are 
invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, at 5882 
N. Ashley Lane, Stockton, CA on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. 
Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 
23, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California 
Street, Stockton, CA. Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. 
Family suggests that floral arrangements or memorial contributions be made to 
Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204, or to the St. 
Michael's Church Building Fund, in her memory.
