Steven "Chato" Chagoya 
June 3, 1951 - November 20, 2004



Steven "Chato" Chagoya, 53, was born in French Camp, CA, June 3, 1951, and 
passed away at the Stanford Medical Center, Saturday, November 20, 2004.
He was the beloved son of Teresa Chagoya of Stockton and the late Raul Chagoya. 
Devoted father of Steve Chagoya of Stockton and grandfather of Steve Chagoya 
III. Great-grandfather of Reyna Y. Chagoya. Loving brother of Teresa Zalceda of 
Stockton, Elias Chagoya of Mexico, Raul Chagoya of Stockton, Armando Chagoya of 
Mexico, Reyna Lopez, Andres Chagoya, Elvia Torres and Pablo Chagoya, all of 
Stockton. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at the DeYoung 
Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA on Monday, November 29, 
2004, at 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 
November 30, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. at St. George's Church, Stockton. Visitation at 
DeYoung's, Sunday, November 28, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Committal at San Joaquin 
Catholic Cemetery.
