Marina M. Rymer 
June 5, 1910 - November 18, 2004



Marina M. Rymer, 94, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2004, in a local rest 
home. She was born in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, June 5, 1910 and lived most of 
her life in Los Angeles, California moving to Stockton in 1999 to be with her 
son. She worked for 35 years at O'Keefe and Merrit and retired from Auto- 
nectics in 1977. She also owned and operated a Shaklee distributing outlet 
until 1986. 
She is survived by her children, Gloria Ann Mettler of Las Vegas, Nevada and V. 
Rev. Fr. Michael Rymer of Stockton. She was the loving grandmother of Donald J. 
Mettler, Ronald Mettler, Pauline Krutz, Jeri Rodriguez, Paul M. Mettler, Jr., 
and James Mettler Sr. Great grandmother of 19 and great great of 16. A member 
of St. Basil's Greek Orthodox Church, and the Ladies Philoptochos Society for 
more than 30 years. 
Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at 
10:00 a.m. at St. Basil's Greek Ortho- dox Church, 920 March Lane, Stockton. A 
Trisagion (Thrice Holy Hymn) will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at 
the Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Chapel of 
the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. California St., Stockton. Committal at Rural 
Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be expressed to St. Basil's Building Fund in her 
memory.
