Leos, 65, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2004, in Stockton. He is survived by his mother, Lorena Contreras, and his children, Denise Gooding of Stockton, Emerson Leos of San Francisco and Rick Leos of Stockton; wife, Debbie Leos and his mother-in-law, Gwen Miller, and his brothers-in-law, Larry Miller and Dale Miller, all of Livermore. He was the loving brother of Joe Leos, Jr. and his wife Arlene of Chino, Rose Marie Haas and her husband Floyd Haas Jr. of Stockton. He was the devoted grandfather of Jennifer Rivera, Lindsey Leos, Ricky Leos, Jr. and Jacob Leos and great-grandfather of Christian Rivera and Steven Rivera, Jr. He is also survived by aunt Sally Covarubias, uncle Sal and aunt Connie Leos, aunt Annie Bourbon and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and his nieces and nephews Lynette Owning, Darla Cooper, Michael Moore, and Stephanie Moore. He was loved and adored by many, especially his special friends and co-workers at Country Club Hairdressers and all his devoted clients. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Leos, Sr.; his sister, Mary Carmen Gunderson and his first wife Elizabeth "Betty" Leos. Rudy, a native of French Camp and a graduate of Franklin High School, was the Western Division Champion of 3 States, won 17 major awards and his hair styles were published in Trend Setters. He was the former owner of A Flair with Hair Salon on Pacific Avenue. He loved camping, fishing and enjoying the ocean. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday, November 29, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton, CA. There will be no visitation.
