William A. Mead, Sr. 
Sept. 9, 1934 - November 22, 2004



William Alton (Al) Mead, Sr., 70, of Stockton, passed away on Monday, November 
22, 2004, at his residence. Born on September 9, 1934, in Borger, TX, he was 
the owner of a janitorial service for 30 years in Stockton. 
Al is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary L. Mead of Stockton. Loving father 
of Deborah Bennett, Rodney Glenn Mead, William (Frank) Mead, Rosemarie Barnes 
and William Alton Mead, Jr., all of Stockton. Grandfather of 12 and great-
grandfather of one. Brother of Ronald Mead of WA, Frances Perkins of FL and 
Pauline Baker of OK.
Funeral services are Monday, November 29, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of 
the Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation at service time only. 
Committal in Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi.
