Martha Roberti
Martha Roberti, 83, of Lodi, died Nov. 25. She was born Martha Meier on July 
12, 1921, in Switzerland.

Mrs. Roberti lived in Connecticut for 39 years and then in Lodi for 21 years. 
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She enjoyed 
cooking, entertaining and playing the Swiss card game, Jass.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Remo Roberti, of Lodi; son, 
Timothy, of the Philippines; daughter, Karen, of North Carolina; sisters, Trudy 
Schmidt, of Galt, and Bette Beardsley, of Lodi; three grandchildren, and one 
great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Bill Meier; and sister, 
Pat Fass.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. 
Christopher's Catholic Church in Galt. Committal will follow at Galt Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Ben Salas Funeral Home. 
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
