Betty Robertson
Betty E. Robertson, 81, of Lodi, died Nov. 24 in a local hospital. She was born 
Feb. 25, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Robertson lived in Santa Ana before moving to Lodi 49 years ago. She 
worked as a registered nurse for 26 years, and was instrumental in starting the 
first surgical recovery room at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton. She 
was a member of the Disciples of Christ, the Lodi Women's Club, and was 
president of the Eastern Star & Philomatian from 1969-70. She enjoyed cross 
stitch, needlepoint, oil and acrylic painting, playing bridge and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J. James Robertson, of Lodi.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lodi Women's Club, 325 W. Pine St., 
Lodi, CA 95240.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
