Rita Canez 
Jan. 16, 1949 - November 25, 2004



Rita Canez, 55, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2004. She was born January 
16, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ and was a resident of Stockton for over 30 years. She 
worked for California Cedar Products and at the In Shape City on West Lane.
She is survived by her companion, Anthony Marquez. Beloved mother of Tony 
Macias, Jr., Tommy Macias and Steven Macias. Sister of Mary Macias, Theresa 
Bustos and Joseph Moreno. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren from Tony and her 
daughter-in-law, Angelica Macias: Anthony, Angelique and Xavier Macias and a 
great-granddaughter, Daylin Macias.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at DeYoung 
Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton. A Mass will be celebrated at 
St. Mary's Catholic Church, 203 E. Washington St., Stockton, at 9:30 a.m., 
Wednesday, December 1. Visitation is Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the 
Mortuary. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
