Anita Gaye McGuire 
Sept. 30, 1936 - November 27, 2004



Mrs. Anita Gaye McGuire, 68, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2004. She was 
born September 30, 1936 in Caney, Oklahoma and moved to Stockton in 1937 and 
Modesto in 1989. She was an office worker for 18 years at Dameron Hospital, 
Stockton. A member of First Baptist Church, Ceres and member of Order of 
Eastern Star. Also active in Womens' Ministries and enjoyed crocheting and 
cooking.
Survived by husband, James T. McGuire of Modesto; children, Vickie Allman of 
Valley Springs, Bill Cartwright of Ceres, Tina Marie Mekel of Lancaster, Thomas 
McGuire of Oregon and Tammera McGuire Bradshaw of Washington; brother, Clyde 
Crossland of Stockton; sister, Karen Sue Bussell of Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 
16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Friday, December 3, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Salas Brothers Funeral 
Chapel, 419 Scenic Dr., Modesto. Visitation is Thursday, December 2, 12 noon to 
8:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial is at Ceres Memorial Park.
