Rene Leora Scott Sarale 
Oct. 22, 1949 - Nov. 27, 2004



Our beloved Rene Leora Scott Sarale, 55, was taken by Our Lord on November 27, 
2004, in St. Joseph's Hospital after a month long battle with pneumonia. She 
was born in Stockton, California, on October 22, 1949, to Norene and Marvin 
Scott and was raised on Roberts Island. Rene worked as a grocery clerk for many 
years finally finding her calling as a caregiver at the end of her life. She 
was a wonderful cook and will always be remembered for her cute little laugh 
and great sense of humor. Rene is survived by her three children: Sharon 
Penales and husband Kevin, Michael Sarale and wife Kim, and Joseph Sarale, 
Beloved sister of Athanase (Toni) Martinez, Amy Hansen and brother Zachary 
Scott, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She will be sadly 
missed by her faithful Boston Terrier companion Samantha.
Family and Friends are invited to celebrate a Mass at St. Lukes Catholic 
Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2004. Public 
Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Thursday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. 
Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.

New York, NY 10021.
