Noel Harris
Noel Baker Harris, 86, of Lodi, died Dec. 4. He was born on May 6, 1918, in 
Dora, Mo.

He married Velva Marie Own on Dec. 7, 1938, in Dora. They moved to the Lodi 
area in 1950. He had been employed with Supermold from 1950 to 1957, and later 
as a dairy farmer from 1957 until his retirement. He was a member of the Church 
of Christ in Lodi.

He is survived by his children, Jerry Harris, of Norman, Okla., Glane Harris, 
of Webb City, Mo., Shirlena Fong, of Folson, Vanis "Randy" Harris, of Stockton, 
and Tommy Harris, of Sand Springs, Okla.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife, Velva Harris; brother, L.B. 
Harris; and sisters, Ethel Thornton and Edith Orwick.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial 
Park, with Mr. Jimmy Winchester of Church of Christ officiating. Visitation 
will be held on Monday at 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern 
California, 105 S. Washington Street, Lodi, Ca, 95240 or P.O. Box 1824, 
Sacramento CA 95812.
