Ysidro Gonzalez Armenta 
April 1, 1921 - December 3, 2004



Ysidro Gonzalez Armenta, age 83 of Stockton passed away on December 3, 2004, at 
Alameda Hospital. He was born April 1, 1921 in Amarillo, Texas. A resident of 
Stockton over 60 years, he is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia 
Armenta of Stockton. He was the loving father to Manuel Egnacio Armenta, Joe 
Armenta, Benny Armenta, Lydia Gonzales, Gloria Armenta, Virginia Hernandez, and 
Theresa Anne De Lashmutt; loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren; 20 great-
grand children, and 1 great great granddaughter. Mr. Armenta was preceded in 
death by his twin sister who died at birth, his parents Elijah and Merced 
Armenta, Brothers Ignacio, Elijah and Benjamin Armenta. Ysidro was employed by 
Elkhorn Fruit Co. and retired from the Port of Stockton after many years of 
service. He began enjoying his retirement by doing what he loved best, working 
in the grape vineyards. 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2004, at 1:30 p.m., at 
Christian Life Center, 9025 N. West Lane, Stockton. 
A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & 
Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 
from 12:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
