Palmer Nov. 9, 1925 - December 3, 2004 Roy B. Palmer, of Stockton, CA, age 79 years, passed away Friday, December 3, 2004. He was born on November 9, 1925, in Oakland, CA. He resided in Oakland and the East Bay area, where he was employed by Glaser Bros. & Coremarck as a truck driver for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Teamster Union Local No. 588 of Oakland. He is survived by sons, Roger Palmer of Las Vegas and Daryl Palmer in Hayward; 2 sisters, Betty Morelli of Manteca and Frances Baumann of San Rafael; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children; also his long-time companion, Judy Palmer of Modesto. Graveside services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. in Garden of Trees at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy. 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Chaplain Bill Sherrill of Lodi will officiate, assisted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Thursday, 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, 831 Industrial Way, near Beckman Road, Lodi.
