Ourania Hyde
Ourania "Ronnie" Hyde, 74, of Lodi, died Dec. 6 in a local convalescent 
hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1930, in New York.

Mrs. Hyde worked as a beautician in New York, and then was a homemaker when she 
relocated to Lodi 43 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and 
walking.

She is survived by her sons, Nick Meyers, of Woodbridge, Bobby Gus Hyde, 
Rudolph Hyde, and Jordan Hyde, all of Lodi; eight grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hyde in 2001; and grandsons, 
Joshua Nicholas Hyde and Nicholas Joseph Meyers Jr.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Gierhart-Wells & 
Donahue Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

This obituary was updated at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 8, 2004, to correct the spelling of 
Nick Meyers and Nicholas Joseph Meyers Jr.
