Lloyd O. "Bill" Gridley 
August 15, 1918 - December 1, 2004



Bill Gridley, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. He was born 
August 15, 1918 in Flournoy, CA. He was a dear husband to his wife, Margaret 
Gridley. She preceded him in death on September 25, 2004, and his oldest son, 
David Gridley passed in March, 2004. 
He is survived by 5 children, Marion Mahnke, Kenneth Gridley, Mitzi Tucker, 
Timothy Gridley, and Lydia Gridley; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 
He took great pride in his gardening. He loved the mountains and the snow; he 
loved the outdoors. He was a very giving man, always trying to help everyone he 
could. He was a good friend to many. 
He was the best Father, Loving us, and teaching us the best he knew how! We 
will deeply miss his boyish smile and that cute grin. We will keep him in our 
hearts, never forgetting the help and love he gave to each one of us. He loved 
serving his Father Jehovah God. He was always concerned about telling others 
about his hope. He was awaiting the time he would wake up pain-free in the 
resurrection and see all of his loved ones here on Earth again. We Love You, 
Dad. Forever you will be in our minds and hearts! Thank you Marion, my sister 
and thank you Hospice.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at 
Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall on Union Road in Manteca. 
All contributions can be made to Hospice House, c/o Hospice of San Joaquin.
