Maurice Berg
Maurice E. Berg, 93, of Lodi, died Dec. 9 in a local convalescent hospital. He 
was born May 20, 1911.

Mr. Berg was a native of Marysville, Mo., where he attended elemetary school at 
St. Patrick's before moving to Atchison, Kan., where he attended and graduated 
from St. Benedict's High School.

He was a resident of Lodi for the past 59 years and as employed by Super Mold 
Corp., in Lodi as an expediter for 30 years prior to retirement. He was a 
member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Lodi Elks 
Lodge No. 1900. He loved yardwork and gardening.

He is survived by his daughter, Clara Conrad, of Lodi; sons, Ralph Berg, of 
Dierks, Ark., and Phil Berg, of Clements; and five grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Berg in 1994.

A vigil service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Gierhart-
Wells & Donahue Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Glenview Cemetery 
in Clements, with Father Michael Kelly officiating.

Ther will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's 
choice.
