Olive Bonfilio
Olive Bernice Bonfilio, 88, of Lodi, died Dec. 13 in a local hospital. She was 
born Oct. 24, 1916, in San Francisco, where she was raised and attended schools.

Mrs. Bonfilio was employed at Pacific Bell as a staff clerk for 34 years until 
her retirement in 1981, and then moved to Lodi in 1999. She was a member of 
Eastern Star in San Francisco, and the Telephone Pioneers of Pacific Bell. She 
enjoyed traveling in their RV, and visited Hawaii, Mexico and the east coast.

She is survived by her husband, John J. Bonfilio, of Lodi.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Olive Florence Johnson in 1969; 
brothers, Fred Wider, William Wider and Lester Wider; and sister, Florence 
DeBernardi.

There will be no services. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
Thursday at Lodi Funeral Home. Entombment will be private at Cypress Lawn 
Garden Cemetery in Colma.

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
