Richard Romero
Richard Lee Romero, 48, of Lodi, died Dec. 12 in a Stockton hospital. He was 
born Nov. 22, 1956, in Santa Maria.

Mr. Romero lived in the Lodi area for 16 years. He was employed as a cook and 
was a member of the Lodi Lite Organization.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan Romera, of Lodi; daughter, 
Stephanie Grosse, of Salinas; son, Richard E. Romero, of Lodi; sister, Joanna 
Romero, of Fresno; parents, Joe and Josie Romero, of Las Vegas; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe E. Romero.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Evergreen Chapel at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi, with Pastors Frank 
Alvarez, Ernest Quesada and Joe Romero officiating. Inurnment will be held at 
the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery near Gustine. There will be no 
visitation.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
