Luis Anthony Garcia 
April 14, 1978 - December 10, 2004



Luis Anthony Garcia, 26, was born in Stockton, CA on April 14, 1978, and passed 
away in Galt, CA on December 10, 2004. 
He was the beloved son of Louis and Phyllis Garcia of Stockton. Loving brother 
of Vanessa and brother-in-law, Ed Fields of Lodi. Dear uncle of Sophia and Ava 
Marie. Devoted grandson of Mercedes and Fidencio Banda of Stockton and the late 
Stanley and Josephine Garcia. Loving Godson of Esther and Peter Basilio of 
Stockton. Nephew of Lillian and Rafael Aleman of Manteca, Pauline Panquilla of 
Pittsburg, CA, Kathleen Garcia of Santa Rosa, Mary and Edward Chavez of 
Stockton, Marie and Don Oxley of Stockton, Arthur and Donna Garcia of Oklahoma, 
Josephine and Richard Benitez of Mexico, Stanley and Hilary Garcia, William and 
Judy Garcia, Theresa and the late Robert Brown, all of Stockton. He is also 
survived by numerous cousins. 
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will 
be celebrated at Cathedral of the Annunciation, 425 W. Rose Street, Stockton, 
CA on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. A vigil service will be held 
on Tuesday, December 14 at 6:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. 
California St., Stockton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. 
at DeYoung's Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Luke's Memorial Scholarship 
Fund, St. Luke's School, 4005 N. Sutter St., Stockton, CA 95204.
