Sarah Deborah Lira 
July 16, 1958 - December 10, 2004



Sarah Deborah Lira, 46, of Stockton passed away on Friday, December 10, 2004, 
at a local hospital after an illness. She was born on July 16, 1958 in French 
Camp, the daughter of Charles C. Lira and Consuelo Soto Lira. She grew up in 
Stockton, where she attended local schools and graduated from high school. 
During her youth, Sarah was a member of the Stockton Police Commodores Drum and 
Bugle Corps. She had worked as an administrative assistant for a family 
resource agency for about 10 years. She enjoyed crocheting, needlework, music 
and traveling. 
Sarah is survived by three sons, Graig Anthony McCarl, Michael Joseph Romero 
and Charles Russell Lira Romero; her daughter-in-law, Lupe Romero; one 
grandson, Robert Anthony McCarl; two sisters, Rose Connie Lira-Beuer and Ruth 
Ramona Lira; and her brother-in-law, James Bueur. Also survived by numerous 
friends and other loving relatives.
Friends are invited to attend visitations from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 
12/15/2004, and where a Celebration of Life Service will be offered at 7 p.m. 
Wednesday at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in 
Stockton. Committal services and interment will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, 
December 16, 2004, at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5150 E. Pine Street in Lodi. 
To honor her memory, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes 
Association, 1524 McHenry Avenue, # 455, Modesto, CA 95250 or the National 
Kidney Foundation, 611 Mission Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105.
