Frank "Duke" Tokunaga 
Jan. 2, 1922 - Dec. 9, 2004



Frank 'Duke" Tokunaga, 82, of Stockton, was born on January 2, 1922, in 
Knightsen, CA, and passed away in Stockton on December 9, 2004, after an 
illness. He was a retired receiving yard supervisor and lived in Stockton for 
55 years. He served in WWII, a U.S. Army Veteran and served honorably with "G" 
Company, 2nd Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He was also a member of 
Kumamoto Kyoyu Kai, and the Stockton Buddhist Temple. 
Duke is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sadame Tokunaga; two sons, 
Daniel H. Tokunaga (Sandra) of Elk Grove and Robert J. Tokunaga (Sandra) of 
Herald; one brother, George "Yogo" Tokunaga of Stockton; and five 
grandchildren. He held the high respect of those who knew him well.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 
December 16, 2004, at the Stockton Buddhist Temple, 2820 Shimizu Drive in 
Stockton. Interment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Frisbie-Warren & 
Carroll Mortuary in Stockton.
