Delbert L. Jones 
Mar. 28, 1924 - Dec. 12, 2004



Delbert L. Jones, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2004. He 
was born on March 28, 1924 in Glendale, Arizona. He spent his childhood years 
growing up in Sparks, Oklahoma. Delbert served in the Navy from 1944 - 46 as a 
Radar- man on the USS Eastland. 
After moving to Stockton in 1947, he became a member of Carpenters Local Union 
#25 of which he was with until his retirement in 1987. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie; 5 daughters, June 
Gentry, Lynn Lane, Gail Eastburn; Janet Shippy, Amy Ming; 7 grandchildren and 2 
great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park, Harney Lane & Hwy 99 
on Thursday, December 16, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday, 
December 15, 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, 
Lodi, CA.
