Hilma Sheaffer
Hilma R. Sheaffer, 82, died Dec. 18 in a local hospital. She was born Hilma Lux 
on July 11, 1922, in Fredonia, N.D.

Mrs. Sheaffer worked at the Guild Winery for many years before retiring in 
1986. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed, traveling, 
gardening, and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters, Maggie Loutt, of Fredonia, N.D.; Lillia Mogck, 
of Kulm, N.D.; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Sheaffer in 1982; and three 
brothers, Edwin Lux, Roland Lux and John Lux.

A graveside service will be held on 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cherokee Memorial Park 
Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home.

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
