He was born June 20, 1960, in Sacramento. Mr. Garcia served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1993 in the Pacific Fleet. He lived in Galt until he relocated to Sacramento eight months ago. He recently earned a degree as a graphic artist from Delta College. He enjoyed crafts, especially doing wedding albums for friends. He is survived by his sisters, Ann Macanas, and Betty Speth, both of Galt; brother, David Garcia, of Galt; parents, Tony and Carolyn Garcia, of Galt; and special friend, Don Finley. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher's. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery, at Franklin Blvd. and Hood-Franklin Road. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ben Salas Funeral Home. Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
