He was born Feb. 17, 1963, in Lodi. Mr. Hostetter lived in Illinois and then moved to Fresno with his family. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks and Natural Resource Management at California State University, Chico. He married Sandra Mota in 1985 and they settled in Long Beach. He managed his own computer consulting firm, Computer Paramedics, and also served as a computer graphics instructor at California State University, Long Beach. He and his family moved to the White Mountains in Arizona, where they built their own house on a small ranch. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, and served as a worship leader in his church in California and in the White Mountains. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of White Mountain Lake, Ariz.; sons, Christian and Josiah, of White Mountain Lake; sister, Kimber Spencer, of Santa Rosa; parents, Charles and Donna Hostetter, of Lafayette; and grandfather, Walter Schmidt, of Lodi. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Highway 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
