Bobbie Ophelia Chestine Looper 
July 12, 1938 - December 16, 2004



Mrs. Bobbie Ophelia Chestine Looper, 66, a retired Computer Technician and life-
long resident of Stockton, was born on July 12, 1938, and placed into God's 
hands on December 16, 2004 after a lengthy illness. She will be missed dearly 
by her beloved husband of 52 years, Hose E. Looper. She was preceded in death 
by her mother, Thelma Teller; her sister, Sue; and daughters, Jeri and Joy 
Looper. 
She is survived by children, Robert, Kevin, Mary, and Stephanie Looper, Leslie 
and Nate Kaarvand; brother, Harold Graham and wife, Anna; grandchildren, 
Martha, Jake and Heather, Justin, Kenny, Leo, Hose, Jheri, Elizabeth, Sheena, 
Kassandra, Cory, Sabrina, Jeremy, Joshua and great grandchildren, Cahli, Alex, 
Nicholas, Lil Cory, Jacob and Bobby. 
Bobbie enjoyed anthropology, reading, and music of any kind. She worked for the 
Stockton Unified School District and enjoyed it so much that she spent 25 years 
of her life doing it. First she worked for Elmwood School and then Fremont 
Middle School until her retirement. 
The family cordially invites all friends to join them in a Celebration of Life 
Service at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll 
Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in Stockton. Committal will be private. A 
virtual version of her life story and scrapbook with a selection of photos can 
be viewed by visiting www.mem.com, where all are encouraged to share their 
thoughts and memories.
