Janice A. Riess 

Feb. 19, 1943 - Dec. 17, 2004



Janice A. Riess, 61, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2004 in the Sonora 
Regional Med Center. She was born on February 19, 1943 in Wheatland, MN. She 
lived in Sonora two years and was raised in Stockton. She graduated from 
Victory Grade School, Stagg High School and Delta College. She was a past 
employee of Pacific Bell as a directory assistance operator for 25 years. She 
was a past member of the CA Horseman's Association, County Horseman's 
Association, San Joaquin Valley Rangers, Stockton Rod & Gun Club, Associated 
Sportsman of CA and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. 
Janice is survived by husband Terry Riess of Sonora; daughter, Patricia Riess 
of Stockton; grandson, Michael Riess and his fiancee Amanda Urbach both of 
Sonora; granddaughter, Brieanna Ritchie of Stockton; uncle, Glenn Cazzins of 
Stockton; aunt, Joyce Althiede of Stockton; and many cousins. 
Private services to be held.
