Mary Delores Sorrells 
September 18, 1922 - Dec. 16, 2004



Mary Delores Sorrells, 82, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004 in Stockton, 
CA. Mrs. Sorrells lived in Stockton her whole life and was a former grocery 
store owner and operator. She was on the Board of Directors for the Montezuma 
Fire Dept. in Stockton for 39 years. She was also a member of S.T.A.R.S. and a 
lifetime member of P.F.A. Eagles Lodge #83. 
She is survived by her two sons, James W. Sorrells of Stockton and Jerry L. 
Sorrells of Lodi, 5 step-children, a brother George Alves of Linden, a sister 
Beatrice Kantack of Manteca and 2 grandchildren. 
Visitation: Wednesday, December 22 from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Wallace-
Martin Funeral Home, 520 N. Sutter St., Stockton. Service: Chapel Service on 
Thursday, December 23, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal: Following the 
Service, Park View Cemetery, Manteca.
