Gloria Jean Jenkins 
Feb. 23, 1946 - Dec. 21, 2004



Mrs. Gloria Jean Jenkins, 58 of Stockton, passed away on December 21, 2004 at 
Dameron Hospital. She was born on February 23, 1946 in Ash Grove, Missouri and 
she lived in Stockton for the past 50 years. She was a nurse for 32 years and 
was currently employed at Good Samaritan Care Center in Stockton where she 
worked for the past 14 years.
She is loved and will be missed by her husband of 36 years, Ronnie Jenkins; her 
sons, Bobby Smith and Ronnie Jenkins, Jr. She is preceded in death by her two 
daughters, Phyllis (Renee) Frank and Gloria (Vallie) Payne. She also leaves 
behind 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; 
aunts; cousins; and brothers, Jackie and Dennis Woods; her sister, Kay Mills; 
and she is also preceded in death by her parents Bessie and Lee Woods; her 
brothers, Jerry and Buddy Woods.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2004 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 
p.m. and Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wallace-
Martin Funeral Home located at 520 N. Sutter Street in Stockton. A Graveside 
Service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 
at 11:00 a.m.
