A very dear and patient wife, a devoted and generous mother, a loving and supportive grandmother, a loyal sister, a sweet and thoughtful auntie, and a kind and understanding friend. She will be loved and missed by her entire family, her friends, and all who met her for her warm and gentle love, her compassion and dedication to family and friends, and a great sense of humor and love of life. Natividad Bermudez was born in Fillmore, California on December 25, 1940, grew up in Stockton, and was a graduate of the first twelfth grade class of Edison High School in Stockton. She later moved to San Jose and later to Newman, then on to Ceres. She was a beautiful and creative woman who could overcome adversity with grace and courage. She is survived by her husband, John Bermudez; her daughter, Margaret Gordillo and son-in-law, David Gordillo of San Jose; daughter, Amanda Guzman and son-in- law/Godson, Isaias Guzman of Newman; son Charles Marquez of Newman, and stepson William Sandoval of San Jose; her grandchildren, Laura, Brittany, and Vanessa Gordillo, Christopher and Nicholas Guzman, Fabian, Gillian, and Lucas Sandoval; her sister, Amalia Ott of Arkansas, and sisters-in-law, Rosie Guzman, Lupe Chavez, and Espie Guzman; nephews and nieces Diane Smith, Cecilia Flores, Eva Woeppel, Sara Neurhor, David Guzman, Robert Guzman, Deborha Cochran, Manuel Guzman, Alex Guzman Jr., Rosalinda Aguilar, Patricia Rodriguez, Julio Hernandez, Ron Guzman, James Garcia, Anthony Guzman, Veronica Schuyler, Michael Guzman and many grand and great grand nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ygnacio and Maria Guzman of Stockton; her brothers, Ygnacio (Chito) Guzman, Alejandro Guzman and Antonio Guzman. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA, Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 203 E.
