Eleanor Berry
Eleanor Marie Berry, 86, died Dec. 24 in a Tra y hospital. She was born March 
22, 1918, in Two Inlets, Minn.

She moved with her family to Snohomish, Wash., and graduated from Snohomish 
High School. She married Francis Eugene Berry in 1938. The couple moved to 
Everett, Wash., in 1945 and to Sunnyvale in 1950. She was employed by 
Westinghouse, Accent Foods, and retired from Raytheon Semiconductor as an 
accounts payable supervisor in 1980. She then moved to Lodi. She had been 
living in Tracy the past few months.

She was a member of the Rock and Mineral Society in Lodi, and Lodi Chapter of 
Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her son, Ron Berry, of Tracy; daughter, Sharon Gile, of 
Folsom; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Eugene Berry, in 1992; 
brothers, Herman Esser and Victor Esser; and sisters, Caroline Adams and Marina 
Perez.

funerals will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lodi Funeral Home, with interment 
following at Cerokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Lodi Funeral Home 
from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 8 a.m. until 
service time on Wednesday.
