Cyrus Edward Madill

  Cyrus Edward Madill was born May 6, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to John 
and Roseda Madill and he passed away December 25, 2004.
  Mr. Madill lived on a ranch in Montana for several years as a child and at 
the age of seven moved to Arcadia, CA. where Cy was popular in school and 
played leading rolls in several musical productions. In 1960 his parents moved 
to Rancho Cordova where he finished high school at San Juan and attend junior 
college. In High School, he was on the basketball team, an honor roll student, 
read the schools morning announcements and worked at Raley's Market.
  He was an avid basketball fan and also a Raider's fan. Cyrus was well known 
as a bartender for several local establishments in the Sacramento area. He 
loved music and his favorite was the Blues.
  He is survived by his wife, Tammie Madill of Rancho Cordova; his son, Sean 
Madill of Citrus Heights, his daughter Jennifer Raines and son, John Raines, 
both of Oregon. He is also survived by three step-children, Amie Smith of 
Lockeford, Ben English of Galt and Holly Milano of Galt; his sister, Janet 
Jacobs of Oregon and also his grandchildren, Chris Madill, Alex Madill and step-
grandchildren, McKenzi Smith, Kacie Starkey, Karma English and Ty Milano.
  Services will be at McKinley Park in Sacramento on Saturday, January 15, 2005 
at the Rose Garden, 601 Alhambra Blvd., Sacramento at 11:00 a.m.
