Pete Olguin
Pete H. Olguin, 74, of Herald, died Dec. 24 at his home. He was born April 14, 
1930, in Lubbock, Texas.

Mr. Olguin worked at the Ford Motor Company in the San Jose Assemble Plant in 
Milpitas, where he was chosen to aid in the closing of the plant, for 30 years 
until his retirement. He lived in Herald for almost 20 years, where he owned 
and operated a landscaping business.

He is survived by his wife, Stella Olguin; sons, Ronald, of Rancho Cordova, 
George, of Galt, Pete, of Stockton; daughters, Betty Contreras, of San Jose and 
Sara Becker, of Herald; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at noon Friday at the Galt Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at Ben Salas Funeral Home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
