Lehr, 76, of Lodi, died Dec. 27 in Lodi. He was born May 12, 1928, in Antioch. Mr. Lehr moved to Victor as a child with his family. He attended Needham School and Lodi High School, and then plumbing apprentice school for five years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947-51. He married MaryLou Lindsey in 1952 at Thornton Community Church. He was employed by Pinasco plumbing as a plumber for 52 years. He enjoyed jewelry making, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, MaryLou Lehr, of Lodi; daughters, Belinda Allen and Dale Buirch, both of Lodi, Kim Long, of Acampo, and Jane Stephens, of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Pearl Sams, of Alexandria, La., and Delores Perman, of Acampo; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Sammie Walls officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com.
