James Everett Arnold 
Sept. 18, 1931 - December 24, 2004



  James Everett Arnold, 73, passed away Friday, December 24, 2004 in Stockton. 
He was born September 18, 1931 in California. James served in the 8th Army as 
Crew Chief for General Maxwell Taylor.
Predeceased by his parents, Rosa Bjourke of Oslo, Norway and James Emanuel 
Arnold of Copenhagen, Denmark. Beloved husband for 47 years of Mary Jane 
Arnold. Brother of Jean Archer of Las Vegas, NV. Devoted father of James Eric 
Arnold of Beverton, OR, Heidi Arnold Malloy of Trabuco Canyon, CA, Leif Everett 
Arnold of Stockton and James Kai Arnold, also of Stockton. Father-in-law to 
Melissa Ann Arnold, Michael Malloy, Bonnie Geddes and Josie Harlan. Loving 
grandfather to Madison Ann Arnold, Erik Dane McAdams Arnold, Jessica Heather 
Malloy, Sean Michael Malloy, Leif Everett Arnold, Jr. (LJ), Noble Maury Arnold, 
Christopher Geddes Arnold and Richard Michael Harlan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at 
the Morris Chapel, University of the Pacific, 3601 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 
95204. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29 at DeYoung Memorial 
Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, from 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. Visitation 
will be held at Morris Chapel on Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assoc., 1212 W. 
Robinhood Dr., Suite 5-D, Stockton CA 95207 or the Children's Museum of 
Stockton, 402 E. Weber Ave., Stockton, CA 95202.
