Richard D. Coronado 
July 16, 1959 - December 25, 2004



  Richard David Coronado, 45, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2004 in 
Stockton. He was born July 16, 1959 in Stockton. He graduated from Franklin 
High School in 1977 where he was a member of the Franklin Jazz Band. He was 
also a member of the Stockton Police Commodores Drum & Bugle Corp. He served 4 
years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S. Cleveland. He was employed for 15 years 
at Temple Inland. Richard was also a music enthusiast and lifelong Oakland 
Raider fan. 
Survived by wife, Caroline A. Coronado. Loving father of 2 daughters, Monique 
Benjamin Coronado and Mary Julia Coronado. Beloved son of Richard Coronado of 
Henderson, NV and Evelyn Coronado of Stockton. Cherished brother of Mary 
Ruvalcaba of Manteca, Andrew Coronado of Stockton and John Coronado of Tel 
Aviv, Israel. Godfather of Alisha Coronado, Richard Coronado and Lisa Vega. 
Grandson of the late Mary Avitia and John Fontes. Also survived by many aunts, 
uncles and cousins. He was a loving and caring Father, Husband, Son, Brother, 
Uncle, Godfather, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. Rich was loved by his daughters 
and family very much and will be greatly missed.
Mass: Thursday, December 30, 2004, 1:00 p.m. at St. Linus Catholic Church, 2620 
S. B Street, Stockton. Visitation: Wednesday, December 29, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 
noon, Thursday, December 30, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Cano Funeral Home, 2164 
E. Charter Way, Stockton. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Harding & 
Cemetery Lane, Stockton.
