Eugene "Gene" Heiden 
June 19, 1941 - December 28, 2004



Eugene "Gene" Heiden, 63, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at his home 
following a sudden illness. He was born June 19, 1941 in North Dakota and moved 
to Lodi at 17 years old. 
Mr. Heiden owned and operated "Machine Service & Parts" in Lodi for many years 
prior to retirement. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He 
enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working on his cars and was 
involved in car racing at the 99 Speedway racing his Vega in past years. He was 
a member of the National Hot Rod Association. He is preceded in death by his 
wife, Norma Heiden, December 29, 1998.
Survived by 1 daughter, Robin (Scott) Toschi of Lodi; 1 step son, Michael McVay 
of Stockton; 2 grandsons, Justin and Tyler Toschi; 1 sister, Eunice Heilbrun of 
Lodi; 1 brother, Virgil Heiden of Bismarck, N.D. 
A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday, December 31, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. 
in the Chapel of Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home with Pastor Steve 
Jarrett of the New Hope Community Church officiating. There will be no 
visitation and inurnment will be private. 
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
