Solomon Winkler, 72, of Herald, died June 24 in a local hospital. He was born 
Sept. 10, 1931, in Low Point, Ill.

Mr. Winkler was a resident of Herald for 28 years. He worked in the aerospace 
industry until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Winkler, of Herald; daughter, Debbie Winkler, 
of Herald; sons, Solomon Winkler Jr., of Galt, and Walter Green, of Colorado; 
and five grandchildren.

There will be no services.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
